Cycle Accident Compensation
We have recently settled a claim for a client in the sum of £20,000.00 as a result of an accident with a third party vehicle whilst our client was riding his bicycle. Client was a self employed roofer although he was unemployed at the time of the accident. Suffered from a fractured finger, cuts and bruises and an operation was required to his shoulder. After obtaining his medical records and being seen by an othopedic specialist a report was obtained and sent to the third party insurers. After some negotiation compensation was agreed in the sum of £20,000.00. Our client was given advice as to the setting up of a Personal Injury Trust to safeguard his compensation as he is in receipt of means tested benefits.
