Before the first face to face appointment you are required to complete the Instruction document which we can email or post out to you. If this not completed we cannot offer the fixed fee.

The Fixed Prices we offer are for uncontested Divorces and vary depending on whether you are the Applicant, the person applying for the Divorce (usually £600 plus VAT) or the Respondent, the person who has received the petition (£400 plus VAT). There are also standard Court fees to pay in addition as set out below.

What work is covered?
This covers the preparation and issue of the Divorce Petition, preparation of all documents needed to progress the divorce and obtain a Final Order in a straightforward undefended divorce or civil partnership. It will include corresponding with the Court and your spouse on your behalf in relation to the divorce or civil partnership. This does not include issues relating to children or finances.
What work is not covered?
•Any work required if the divorce petition/civil partnership needs to be amended following it being issued by the Court
•Process Server fee if the paperwork needs to be personally served on your spouse
•Fee for obtaining copy marriage certificate
•Fee for translation of marriage certificate in a foreign language
•ANY ADVICE AND PROCEEDINGS CONCERNING PROPERTY, FINANCES AND CHILDREN a fixed fee is available for this work or it will be charged at an hourly rate. However, an estimate of the likely costs will be provided before any work is carried out.

Respondent Divorce or Civil Partnership (person who has received a Petition)
If you are a Respondent in divorce or civil partnership proceedings our fixed fee for dealing with an undefended divorce will be charged at a fixed fee price of £400 plus VAT, payable at the outset
Again this fixed fee price covers all work from instruction and receipt of the completed Instruction Document to obtaining the Final Order.
