Amanda Winder – Private Client Executive

Amanda Winder is a Private Client Executive at Vincents Solicitors, working within the firm’s private client team. She advises on estate administration, Wills, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney, supporting clients through some of the most significant decisions in their lives. Amanda has managed her own caseload independently for more than ten years.

Experience and specialism

Amanda’s caseload covers a broad range of private client work. This includes estate administration, including intestacies and estates where Inheritance Tax is payable, alongside Deeds of Variation and the drafting of straightforward and complex Wills. She also advises on tax and estate planning, property protection trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection applications involving vulnerable individuals, as well as property gifting arrangements.

Qualifications and background

Amanda began her legal career in 2003 as an office junior, progressing through roles as Legal Secretary, Paralegal, and Senior Case Manager before becoming a Private Client Executive. She trained through the CILEX pathway, starting at Blackburn University Centre before completing her studies by distance learning. Amanda holds the CILEX Paralegal Studies qualification and the CILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. She has also completed the CILEX Level 6 qualifications required for Probate Practitioner status and is currently awaiting confirmation that her professional portfolio has been accepted, the final step towards qualifying as a CILEX Probate Practitioner with practice rights. Amanda is a member of CILEX, the professional body for Chartered Legal Executives, Paralegals and other legal professionals.

Outside work, Amanda spends time with her husband, her adult son, and their pet rabbit, and enjoys gardening, DIY, and knitting. She is also involved in local charity work within the community.
