Experience and specialism
Courtney began a training contract in 2019, working across the Conveyancing, Private Client and Family departments. After qualifying, Courtney specialised in Private Client work alongside residential and commercial conveyancing, a combination that has shaped a broad, practical approach to advising clients.
Courtney’s Private Client work covers all types of probate matters, whether taxable or not, along with wills, inheritance tax and care fees planning, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications. This range allows Courtney to support clients through interconnected later-life and estate planning needs, rather than a single issue in isolation.
Qualifications and background
Courtney trained at Inghams Solicitors. Courtney holds an LLB Honours degree from Lancaster University and an LLM in Legal Practice from the University of Lancashire.

Outside work
Outside work, Courtney is married with two young sons, aged four and one. Courtney enjoys running and swimming in her spare time.
