George Mushahwar – Senior Associate, Commercial Property and Litigation
George Mushahwar is a Senior Associate at Vincents Solicitors, working across commercial property and litigation. He has ten years’ experience in litigation and five and a half years in commercial property, giving him a broad grounding across both disciplines.
Experience and specialism
George’s commercial property work covers sales, purchases, remortgages, bridging finance and commercial leases. On the litigation side, he handles contested probate claims, including undue influence and Inheritance Act claims, as well as challenges to the validity of a will. He also acts in property ownership disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, and possession claims. This dual focus means he can advise clients on a property matter from both a transactional and a contentious angle.
Qualifications and background
George trained and qualified at Kevills Solicitors in Chorley. He holds an LLB in Law and Business Studies and an LLM in Legal Practice.
Working with clients
George works with a wide range of clients, from local individuals to multinational companies, and values building a genuine relationship with each of them. He is known for finding solutions to complicated issues that fall outside the ordinary run of a case. Where possible, those solutions are structured to give clients both their desired outcome and legal protection if another party fails to follow through on their side of an arrangement. He sees direct contact with clients, whether in person or by phone, as one of the most rewarding parts of his role, balancing the time he spends on case work at his desk.
At Vincents Solicitors
George joined Vincents Solicitors because of its entrepreneurial direction and its openness to growth, qualities he found lacking at previous firms. From his first conversations with Phillip and David, his ambition to grow a team was actively encouraged rather than simply tolerated. He is now focused on building out the firm’s property litigation practice, an area with significant scope for growth that has not traditionally been a focus of the firm’s marketing. Establishing and eventually heading up his own branch is a long-term goal he is working towards.
Outside of Work
Outside the office, George is a Liverpool supporter. He also plays and coaches cricket at his local club, Orrell Red Triangle.
