Do You Commit Driving Offences Without Even Knowing?

Many of us are adamant that we are among the best and most skilled drivers to live. These subjective claims might be supported by the fact that you have been fortunate enough to not have been involved in an accident so far.

But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future, especially if you are committing driving offences which will increase the risk of having an accident.

All of us will be familiar with the common - albeit exaggerated - driving offence scenarios:

- Driving directly after a heavy session at the pub.
- Breaking the speed limit by travelling at 90 mph in a 60 mph zone.
- Or using your mobile phone while in a rush to an important business meeting.

Laws are there for a reason and not, as some may suggest, used to prevent us ‘having a bit of fun’. The above scenarios may well be exaggerated, but the consequences of committing less familiar offences can be just as severe.
These unfamiliar offences may already be known to you.

More Questions? Why Not Take Part in Our Q&A

We appreciate that these offences only include a small portion of obscure driving scenarios which people may be involved in. So if you have further queries or concerns regarding driving offence law, we will be holding a Q&A session were people can send in their questions and we will endeavour to respond to the majority. We will publish some of these responses on our blog at a later date –you can choose to post anonymously if you prefer.
Stay tuned for further update on our Q&A event.
