New home for Vincents in Gastang

Law firm’s home town office move

Vincents Solicitors has relocated to new premises in Garstang after 17 years, and having made a £30,000 investment. The Lancashire law firm has moved out of its very first office in Bridge Street, where the business began in 2000, and into a newly refurbished building across town.

The six-strong team is now based at Rope Walk, near to the Booths supermarket and the Windsor Street car park, with its three-hour free parking. The new home, formerly a veterinary practice, has undergone a £30,000 refurbishment to create a series of modern offices and consultation rooms, and a welcoming waiting area.

The move also signals the start of the branch’s new Saturday morning opening hours, providing an additional service for the local community. From this month (January 2018), the Garstang office will be open from 9am to 12noon every Saturday.

In addition to offering a full range of legal services, Vincents’ Garstang team specialises in residential conveyancing, family law and private client work, such as wills and probate, lasting power of attorney, deputyships and trusts. The Garstang branch of the Yorkshire Building Society, which was also based in the office at Bridge Street, will now operate from the new premises.

Lisa Lodge, head of the Garstang office, said the move was great news for clients. She said: “The new office is lovely, very welcoming and comfortable. More importantly, it’s right in the heart of the town and has much better parking and access for our clients. It’s easier to find as it’s a much more prominent position, and we’re hoping to make visiting us even more convenient with new Saturday morning opening hours.

“We consider ourselves very much part of the community here in Garstang, taking part in local events like the Victorian evening, and getting involved with groups such as the WI and business networking. We were a bit out of the way down on Bridge Street, but the new office is right in the thick of things. The staff are really pleased and we hope our clients will be too.”
