Our busy accounts team are looking for an experienced, ambitious cashier to join them in our impressive Preston offices as an assistant to our Finance Manager. You will need to be up to date on your knowledge of the solicitors’ accounts rules and have experience of managing office and client account, including the reconciliation of the bank accounts. You will also need to have experience of credit control and will be expected to manage this process within the team. We use Eclipse Proclaim for our accounts and case management, so some experience on this system would be beneficial.

Residential Conveyancing New Business Coordinators (Preston)
If you have a proven record of success in sales administration, ideally in the property sector or you have worked in a conveyancing team in a law firm and you want to be part of the growth of a forward thinking client focused firm, you need to contact us.
We are an established large regional law firm, headquartered in Preston that is looking for ambitious individuals to be the first point of contact with potential clients who need our conveyancing services. Your job will be to convert conveyancing quotes into cases for our branch teams by promoting our network of residential conveyancing teams in Lancashire, provide quotes and information to clients about our services and to manage the conversion of quotes into new business. You will also manage the opening of files and sending of initial documentation to clients who decide to use our services.
You will have excellent customer care skills, professional telephone skills and the determination and organisation to stay on top of a busy workload. It would be helpful if you understand the house buying process and the priorities of clients when they are buying or selling their home.
On offer will be a competitive package of up to £20,000 basic salary, depending on your current level of experience, plus a performance related bonus based on successful sales conversions.

Our growing commercial property team has opportunities for experienced conveyancing assistants and secretaries to take the next steps in their career. We are an established large regional law firm, headquartered in Preston but servicing commercial clients throughout the North West and beyond. If you have good solid experience in conveyancing, ideally commercial but residential experience is valuable too and you see yourself focusing on commercial property in the future you need to apply to join us.
You will need to understand the conveyancing process, have experience of organising searches, using the Land Registry portal and HMRC’s Stamp Duty Land Tax portal and be able to show a high level of client focus in your past roles. We will offer the opportunity for you to develop your conveyancing skills in the commercial sector and provide you with the training you need to fulfil your role. If you have what it takes, you will be given the chance to progress towards fee-earner status.
