Vincents Solicitors’ Zoe Fleming up for professional award

Lytham-based Wills lawyer shortlisted for the EVAs 2019

Zoe Fleming, a popular private client lawyer at Vincents Solicitors, has been nominated for a prestigious EVA. Zoe, a specialist in Wills, Trusts and Power of Attorney, has been shortlisted in the Professional Services category for the Enterprise Vision Awards.

Based at Vincents central Lytham office in Park Street, Zoe is well known in the town having worked as a lawyer serving local people for more than 15 years. She is also involved with a huge range of charity and community activities, organising and taking part in fundraisers, dementia awareness training, and communal events to tackle loneliness.

Chris Mathews, head of Vincents’ Lytham branch and the Private Client department, has backed Zoe for the win. He said: “Zoe is that rare combination of a true professional who is genuinely approachable and down to earth. She has a lovely manner, which her clients really appreciate, along with a sharp legal mind. Liked by her colleagues and clients alike, Zoe cares deeply about her work and getting the best results for everyone.

“She is also the first to volunteer for any community or fundraising activities, and has brought numerous new initiatives to the business including Dementia Friends training and connections with various local organisations with whom we are now working. She also, somehow, got me on the dancefloor at the St George’s Day Tea Dance, which Vincents sponsored as part of our commitment to tackling loneliness by supporting community events aimed at helping older people. For her professionalism and her community spirit, we would love to see Zoe honoured at the EVAs.”

The Enterprise Vision Awards (the EVAs) are a celebration of female entrepreneurs, professionals and businesswomen from across Lancashire, organised by Blackpool networking group the Pink Ladies. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Friday September 27th.

A panel of judges selected the shortlist following a 20-question interview with each of the nominees, but the final winners will be decided by the public vote. To cast your vote click the link below: https://evasvoting.co.uk/professional-services-award/

Zoe added: “It’s lovely to be on the shortlist for the Professional Services category and it would be really wonderful to win. I love my job and doing the best I can for my clients, and I really enjoy the fundraising and volunteering. I wouldn’t think to expect thanks for either, but it is really nice to have it acknowledged.

“I’m looking forward to the event which I’m sure will be a huge celebration of fabulous women from all over the county, and it promises to be a fantastic night whatever the outcome.”
