Accident at Work

X recovered £8000.00 after accident at work.

X, a Council worker, was carrying out his normal work duties for the Council when he slipped in a puddle consisting of limescale and algae. The puddle had formed as a result of limescale and other residues dripping from an underpass onto the roads and pathways. The Council had failed to clear the hazard. X slipped and sustained an injury to his knee which aggravated an underlying knee condition. X recovered £8000.00 against the Council.
